چکیده
Background: Neonatal blood pressure varies considerably in the early days of life. To correctly interpret measurements or predict expected a newborn, factors that influence neonatal must be taken into consideration. This study aimed to identify (BP) period. Method: is sub-analysis research work on pattern asphyxiated neonates and apparently healthy neonates. It hospital-based observational was conducted at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital [EKSUTH], Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. 12 readings were serially from each baby first 24 hours after birth using oscillometric device. Relationships between physical parameters established regression analysis. Differences with respect gender, gestational age, weight categorization, maturity for socio-economic status, civil status independent t-test analysis variance where appropriate. Result: 1476 123 newborns analyzed. The mean (standard deviation) (SD) BP mmHg day 1 69.5 (6.5), 39.2 (5.1), 49.3 (4.6) Systolic (SBP), Diastolic (DBP) Mean Arterial (MAP) respectively. showed positive linear relationship (R=0.488, P=0.000) length (R =0.304, P= 0.001). There also significant differences SBP gender (P = 0.015), 0.023), maternal hypertension 0.043). DBP (P= 0.001) MAP(P=0.001) had Maternal hypertension. Conclusion: correlated significantly length. Only effect diastolic pressure.
